The Housing Authority of the County of San Joaquin is committed to providing programs and services
that will support our residents in becoming economically self-sufficient. To this end, the Authority
developed Supportive Services Centers, which offer a wide variety of supportive services that are
conveniently located on the grounds of four of the Authority’s public housing developments. Each Center
offers services in the area of employment, education, substance abuse, family wellness and youth recreation.
Job training opportunities are provided for residents at each Center. The aim of this training opportunity
is to support residents in gaining marketable competitive employment skills and enhance positive work
behaviors. The ultimate goal of this program component is to support residents in finding jobs.
